Join us for a tour of Southern Grace Distilleries, one of the region’s first distillers, housed in a re-purposed prison in Mt. Pleasant on Thursday, April 13th from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitors will watch a short film about the origins of Southern Grace; tour the prison including the barrel house, hot box, and still room; and end in solitary confinement for a tasting of their two products: Sun Dog 130 and Sun Dog Pink Lemonade. This event is open to anyone interested in local food and drink production and will conclude with a potluck dinner and time to socialize. The cost is $7 per person; visitor’s must be 21 or older.
