Local Food Symposium 3/13

The Piedmont Culinary Guild is hosting a Local Food Symposium from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on March 13, 2016 at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte. The Symposium consists of 19 sessions about local food systems, covering everything from jam making to vegan cooking.The goal of the symposium is to create dialog among farmers, chefs, culinary educators, industry professionals, and others about “getting back to the basics: what we eat, what we drink, and how we can all work together to create a healthier, increasingly  sustainable food environment.”
